This role will support the data engineers and senior software engineers to continue building our research and trading infrastructure. You should be proficient in key languages such as Python and Javascript. You will also have the opportunity to explore technologies that may be new to you such as machine learning, time series analysis, devops, and quantitative financial analysis.
Cambrian is very much a technology company with a heavy emphasis on research and development. You do not need experience in finance to succeed in this role. This role would be an excellent opportunity for someone who has experience in software development but is looking to learn new skills.

Minimum Requirements
- 1 or more years of software development experience at a technology company or an advanced degree in computer science
- Experience with git version control, branching and rebasing.
- Proficiency with Python and Javascript
- Experience with React preferred
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Work with the engineering team and Chief Investment Officers to design, develop, and deploy sophisticated quantitative trading strategies.
- Continue development of high-performance systems that make sub-millisecond trading decisions with almost zero downtime.
